Serving America's Veterans Year-Around (SAVY) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families through transitional housing, rehabilitation programs, and community outreach initiatives. Our mission is to provide year-round support that restores stability, dignity, and opportunity to those who have served our nation.
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate Administrator (Volunteer / Intern) to assist with daily nonprofit operations, communications, and project coordination. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on administrative experience while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Position Overview The Administrator will provide vital support to SAVY's leadership and programs by helping manage communications, scheduling, document preparation, and record-keeping. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, multitasking, and community service. Key Responsibilities Assist with general administrative duties, including email management, scheduling, and data entry. Support coordination of meetings, community events, and outreach initiatives. Maintain digital files, records, and volunteer information. Help draft letters, reports, and basic correspondence. Assist in preparing and updating internal documents, forms, and spreadsheets. Provide support for fundraising campaigns and program communications. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented. Passion for supporting veterans and community-focused work.
