Innovex is seeking a motivated and results-oriented
Account Sales Representative
based in the
Houston or Midland
area to join our Wellhead team. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and driving sales growth of
Innovex Wellhead Systems.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with commercial acumen and a proactive approach to identifying customer needs and delivering effective wellhead solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and expand the customer base for Innovex Surface Wellhead Systems within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through customer visits, networking, and market research.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and quotation to negotiation and closing.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including operations, supply chain, and engineering, to ensure timely delivery and support.
- Monitor market trends, customer activities, and competitor movements, providing feedback to management.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular activity reports.
- Represent Innovex at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Goal-oriented mindset with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in a competitive environment.
- Solid technical understanding of surface wellhead systems and related drilling or completion equipment.
- Familiarity with operators and service companies in the Houston and Midland regions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas sales, preferably with surface wellhead or pressure control products.
- Knowledge of drilling and completion operations and associated equipment is an advantage.
- Capable of building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable, with a high level of initiative.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent technical or commercial experience will also be considered.
