The Judge Group is seeking a degreed 2nd shift Quality Assurance Supervisor for a large food manufacturer in Dallas, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Direct all QA and sanitation personnel on the assigned shift
  • Develop and deliver quality and technical training
  • Assist and develop sanitation and quality programs and procedures
  • Participate in corporate projects to support innovation and cost control
  • Analyze and solve quality related issues
  • Participate in all internal and external audits relative to QA
  • Ensure all operations are in accordance with OSHA regulations
  • Equip and supply quality assurance laboratory
  • Provide technical expertise
  • Maintain master control documents
  • Maintain system for checking and verifying process compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of QA supervisory experience preferred
  • SQF & HACCP certified
  • Experience with FDA, USDA regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Creative/analytical problem solving skills and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems
  • Team building skills and experience
  • Microsoft office skills such as PowerPoint, Project Manager, Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated experience in managing plant sanitation programs
