Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management and customer service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality standards are met.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
  • Operate POS systems for cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Close out cash tills and prepare bank deposit,
  • Train and develop staff on best practices in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Be able to lift fifty pounds.

Experience

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or as an Assistant Manager in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with kitchen management practices, culinary experience, and food production techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and training & development.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. J

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
