Residential Project Manager – Luxury Custom Homes

The Role

As a Project Manager at Bost Custom Homes, you'll take ownership of day-to-day field operations, working closely with clients, trade partners, and our internal team to bring each project to successful completion. This position is best suited for someone who is proactive, detail-driven, and committed to both immediate results and long-term career growth within our company.

Location:

This role is based in Wake County, NC. Only applicants residing within commuting distance will be considered. This is a full-time, on-site position with core operational hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. However, managing and securing your project sites supersedes business hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of custom home construction, from site prep to final walkthrough
• Oversee field operations, subcontractor coordination, and vendor relationships
• Monitor timelines and budgets to ensure projects stay on track
• Uphold strict quality control standards and compliance with plans/specifications
• Enforce NC Building Code compliance
• Lead job site quality control inspections and site walks with clients
• Keep sites clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Integrate with Operations and Admin team to accelerate internal communication
• Provide clear and cordial communication with clients, ensuring transparency and satisfaction throughout the build process

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential construction experience (custom home background strongly preferred)
• Experience resolving high-stakes problem
• Proven leadership and project management skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve challenges quickly and effectively
• High school diploma required; NC General Contractors License is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $80,000 – $95,000 base salary + KPI based commission
