Job Overview

We are seeking a Techno-Functional Odoo Consultant with 3+ years of hands-on experience in both the technical development and the functional implementation of Odoo ERP solutions. You will be the crucial link between business requirements and technical delivery, involved in requirement gathering, solution design, customization, and implementation. This role demands a strong mix of technical proficiency, business analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Functional and Analysis:

  • Analyze and document client business processes, workflows, and functional requirements across various Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing).
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications and solution designs.
  • Configure and manage Odoo modules to align with client business requirements, optimizing the out-of-the-box functionality where possible.
  • Conduct end-user training, prepare user manuals, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the business stakeholders and the development team.

Technical and Development:

  • Develop new Odoo modules and customize existing ones (both back-end and front-end) when configuration alone is insufficient.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure technical solutions align with functional specifications and best practices.
  • Perform integration of Odoo with third-party systems via APIs.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Odoo applications and custom features.
  • Maintain technical and functional documentation for all configurations, customizations, and implemented solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Odoo development and configuration.
  • Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of the Odoo framework (ORM, views, models, workflows) and its architecture.
  • Experience in Odoo version upgrades and performance optimization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and Git version control.

Functional and Consulting Skills:

  • Demonstrable knowledge and implementation experience in core Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Purchase).
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into effective Odoo solutions.
  • Experience in pre-sales support, demoing Odoo features, and presenting solutions to clients is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of ERP best practices and business processes across multiple industries.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong commitment to client satisfaction and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
