We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a
Manufacturing Systems Engineer,
based out of our Sterling Heights, Michigan location.

We are seeking a developed engineer with MES skills and intuition to join our team

The Role:

  • Configure, and deploy MES application (Insequence) to meet manufacturing process requirements.
  • Develop and maintain SQL databases used by the MES for production tracking, quality, and traceability data.
  • Develop and optimize SQL scripts, queries, stored procedures, and triggers for reporting and data processing.
  • Create automation scripts and reports using SQL and other scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Translate business and process requirements into system functionality and workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of MES applications (Insequence).
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of MES (Insequence) configurations, changes, and user procedures.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database structures, data flows, and system configurations.
  • Troubleshoot automation issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Controls, Automation and/or equivalent
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience working in MES platforms (Insequence strongly preferred) developing, implementing and supporting manufacturing environments
  • Has experience with PLC programming (i.e. Allen-Bradley)
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
  • Has a strong knowledge of SQL Databases; proficient in scripting for data analysis, automation and reporting
  • Has knowledge of industrial communication protocols
