Client Engagement Specialist (Part-Time, Remote)

Sykes Elder Law, a respected boutique firm specializing in estate planning and Medicaid planning, is seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to guide prospective clients through the first and most important step of their planning journey.

This is not an administrative role — it's a consultative sales position designed for someone who loves helping families make confident decisions about their future. You'll lead discovery-style consultations, educate clients on our process, and guide qualified prospects to take the next step by engaging the firm for a planning session.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients via Zoom using our proven conversation framework.
  • Listen deeply to each prospect's situation, identify their key needs, and guide them toward the best next step in our process.
  • Confidently present our Initial Consultation Planning Session offer and engage clients to book on the spot when appropriate.
  • Track all consultations, next steps, and outcomes in our client relations management (CRM) software.
  • Follow up with prospective clients who haven't yet scheduled, maintaining warm and professional communication that builds trust.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and team members to ensure a seamless handoff for new clients.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in consultative sales, client advisement, or intake for professional services (e.g., legal, financial, or healthcare).
  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence — able to listen with empathy while confidently guiding toward a decision.
  • Comfortable following a proven conversation structure while bringing authenticity and presence to each call.
  • Tech-savvy and organized: proficient in Zoom, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
  • Professional demeanor, integrity, and enthusiasm for helping clients make life-changing decisions.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Base hourly rate: $22–$25/hour
  • Performance bonuses: $75–$125 per client engaged
  • Typical total earnings: $18,000–$26,000/year, with top performers earning up to $30,000/year (approx. $2,500/month)
