In this high-impact role, you'll combine your technical expertise and business acumen to drive seamless product launches through a world-class supply chain readiness framework. You'll partner closely with teams across Engineering, Infrastructure, Data Center Readiness, and Product Management to deliver at scale and ensure Microsoft's cloud innovations reach customers on time, in volume, and with uncompromising quality.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, program management, hardware development, or consumer electronics
  • OR equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related area.
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain, High-tech Manufacturing, New Product Introduction, Sourcing, Operations or related fields

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cloud, GPU, or AI-related high-tech hardware or supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record in program management at a high-tech company, successfully establishing and executing supply chain processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with global, cross-functional teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Experiene in leadership, collaboration, and influence skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, conflicting priorities, and change.
  • Proficient in data analytics, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality outputs.

NPI Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll help drive the success of the end-to-end supply chain for new Artificial Intelligence (AI) products, ensuring smooth and scalable launches. You'll work cross-functionally across partner teams and supply chain functions to execute an NPI (New Product Introduction) framework that meets both business and customer goals.

Leveraging your technical and business expertise, you'll collaborate with and influence partner teams to optimize plans, decisions, and readiness activities through Design for Supply Chain (DfSC) principles to enable new solutions to scale efficiently, predictably, and with exceptional quality.

Specific duties include:

  • Lead cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute NPI readiness strategies for AI and cloud products.
  • Drive risk management, schedule acceleration, and trade-off decisions to maximize customer capacity and delivery reliability.
  • Use analytics and cost-benefit insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize performance.
  • Maintain deep understanding of product technical attributes, milestones, and interdependencies to guide execution.
  • Provide real-time thought leadership on AI and GPU trends and their impact on Microsoft's supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to align on schedule, quality, risks, and product changes to meet business and customer needs.
  • Influence across teams through early lifecycle engagement to achieve broad business goals.
  • Scale and improve NPI processes, increasing clarity, simplifying execution, and driving operational excellence.
