Operational Change Manager
The Operational Change Manager will design and prepare business readiness frameworks that enable client teams to confidently execute cutover and post–go-live activities in a Supply Chain Systems transformation effort. This role establishes structure and tools (checklists, playbooks, handoff guides) that business teams will use to validate operational continuity, ensuring a smooth transition without requiring technical cutover support.
Key Responsibilities
Framework & Tool Development
- Build the Operational Readiness Checklist to guide client process owners in validating go-live preparedness.
- Create the Functional Handoff Checklist that clarifies transitions between roles, functions, and systems post-go live.
- Consolidate key process documentation, decision logic, and escalation paths into the Functional Playbook Summary for client teams. (Requirements, User Stories, Functional Design Documents)
Client Enablement
- Conduct walkthroughs and working sessions with client process owners to review and validate deliverables.
- Transfer ownership of readiness tools and frameworks to the client, ensuring they understand how to apply them.
- Provide guidance and facilitation to help client stakeholders identify readiness gaps and define mitigation steps.
Transition Support
- Deliver enablement materials aligning with the cutover timeline.
- Equip the client with clear documentation, checklists, and playbooks that can be executed and maintained internally (after our departure)
- Ensure all outputs are business-facing, practical, and action-oriented, supporting self-sufficiency post-handover.
Deliverables
- Operational Readiness Checklist – Confirmation tool for business process owners to validate go-live preparedness.
- Functional Handoff Checklist – Guide for transitions between roles and systems post-go-live.
- Finalized Functional Playbook Summary – Consolidated guide to processes, responsibilities, and escalation paths.
