As a Security Professional - Mall Welcome Desk in Oak Brook, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a high-end retail location, you will be the first point of contact for guests and staff, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting security-related protocols. Your presence will help to deter incidents and promote a secure environment. You will interact with visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with both clients and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access control at the entrance, verifying identification and credentials as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and issuing temporary credentials when required.
• Communicate professionally with all individuals entering or exiting the location, providing directions and/or information as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to site procedures.
• Coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or local emergency services during emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
