Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Director of Engineering to join our team In this role you will o versee a portfolio of projects, ensuring effective technical delivery and adherence to internal standards, while managing customer relationships, identifying risks, fostering team development, and driving business growth through strategic application of emerging technologies.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading a portfolio of related projects and teams to execute technical solutions and projects.
• Lead technical team for effective project delivery as well as adherence to Parsons internal policies and standards.
• Identify risks and work resolution across project, customer, and internal groups.
• Customer relationship management across various external partner organizations.
• Manage and grow your area of the business through Parsons business growth strategy.
• Apply emerging technology, current trends, and developments for next generation offerings.
• Develop technical team and foster growth in competency and career.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with 10+ years experience within a technical field or related industry and 2+ years experience in a team leader/managerial role in a related role, including supervisory experience and experience presenting information/assessments to senior personnel
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex information from various sources
• Advanced knowledge of and ability to apply best industry practices and regulations
• Advanced problem solving, judgement, and decision making skills; understanding current and future implications
• Ability to understand related technical impact with current and future situations
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to understand complex and in-depth technical situations and related business challenges

• Direct customer relationships in target market
• Demonstrated performance managing large scale programs including multiple subcontractors and stakeholders
• Experience managing modern software architecture and extensible systems.
