Location: Troy, NY

Contract: 6 months

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Support Executive – Desktop Management professional with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in desktop and end-user support within Infrastructure Services (IS).
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, including providing remote support to geographically distributed associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop and end-user support for Windows and macOS environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, monitors, etc.).
  • Deliver remote support to associates using remote access tools and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Handle incident management and escalation, maintaining SLA compliance through ServiceNow, Freshservice, or similar ITSM tools.
  • Support desktop management operations, including patching, upgrades, asset management, and system imaging.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Assist in new hire setups, software deployments, and onboarding support activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6–8 years of experience in desktop support or end-user computing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, O365, and remote support tools.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Ivanti, Freshservice).
  • Familiarity with desktop management solutions (e.g., SCCM, Intune, JAMF).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and support both onsite and remote users.
