Leidos is seeking a skilled Functional Consultant with expertise in healthcare data strategy to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning clinical, operational, and business processes with enterprise data strategy initiatives, driving data governance, and enabling AI/ML opportunities to optimize healthcare workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements gathering, functional design, and stakeholder facilitation
  • Enable use case development and process modeling within healthcare domains
  • Provide healthcare analytics and visualization using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Work with cloud data ecosystems such as Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards
  • Define data ownership, stewardship, and governance processes
  • Drive consensus among clinicians, IT, and business leaders on data initiatives
  • Support business case development, ROI, and benefit realization
  • Identify opportunities for AI/ML in clinical decision support and operational optimization

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in healthcare data strategy and functional consulting
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and standards
  • Expertise in process modeling and data governance
  • Skilled in data visualization and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms in healthcare context
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required
