Reporting into our new VP of Creative, the creative leader for Comcast's growing in-house agency, the Executive Director, Group Creative Director will be a pivotal creative force in this evolution — shaping bold ideas that unify storytelling across channels, inspire teams, and connect millions of customers to a brand redefined by imagination, technology, and culture. The Executive Director, Group Creative Director will be both a visionary and a maker — driving creative direction and personally shaping world-class integrated campaigns that cut through across every channel: digital, social, retail (600+ stores), OOH, video, and major tentpole moments like the Olympics, NBA, WNBA, etc. This leader will partner with strategy, design, and production teams to elevate how Xfinity shows up across customer touchpoints — from brand campaigns to product launches — bringing together storytelling craft and strategic clarity.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership

  • Develop and lead world-class, integrated creative ideas that power the "Imagine That" brand platform across every medium — from broadcast to digital and beyond.
  • Be a hands-on concept shaper: generate, refine, and guide breakthrough ideas from concept through execution.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Creative to translate strategic goals into emotionally resonant, culturally relevant work.
  • Champion a balance of brand storytelling through to performance-driven creative, ensuring every execution drives both inspiration and impact.
  • Lead high-profile initiatives that re-define how Xfinity connects with audiences through experiences, partnerships, and innovation.

Omnichannel Collaboration

  • Partner cross-functionally with strategy, media, and experience design teams to ensure creative coherence across the full customer journey.
  • On occasion, work with external agency partners to inspire integrated campaigns that align with Xfinity's national challenger mindset.
  • Collaborate with retail, digital, and content teams to deliver consistent brand experiences across owned and paid channels.
  • Integrate insights, data, and cultural trends into the creative process to ensure the work is both meaningful and modern.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of art directors, copywriters, designers, and content creators within a growing creative department.
  • Foster a creative culture grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and accountability — where bold ideas thrive.
  • Nurture and develop talent, encouraging experimentation and professional growth.
  • Partner with the VP of Creative, Head of Strategy, and Production leads to set the creative bar for the organization.
Qualifications:
  • 13+ years of experience in creative leadership, preferably across top-tier agencies or in-house teams.
  • A proven portfolio of integrated, omnichannel work that demonstrates conceptual excellence and measurable impact.
  • Deep understanding of storytelling across digital, social, experiential, and emerging media.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; capable of inspiring confidence with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with external agencies and internal teams on large-scale, high-visibility campaigns.
  • Track record of leading creative that shifts perception and drives growth.
Personal Attributes:
  • A hands-on creative leader who thrives in the work — concepting, shaping, and elevating ideas daily.
  • Strategic yet imaginative; able to translate insights into bold creative expressions.
  • Passionate about culture, technology, and new forms of storytelling.
  • Collaborative by nature — a trusted partner and mentor who builds creative momentum through connection.
  • Ambitious for the brand and the team — motivated to build something transformative at scale.
Why Join?:
  • This is a rare opportunity to help define the next chapter of one of America's most recognized brands. You'll be part of a creative leadership team reinventing what in-house creative can be — shaping Xfinity into a true challenger brand, crafting culture-forward work, and setting a new benchmark for excellence.
Employees at all levels are expected to:
  • Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.
  • Own the customer experience - think and act in ways that put our customers first, give them seamless digital options at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services.
  • Know your stuff - be enthusiastic learners, users and advocates of our game-changing technology, products and services, especially our digital tools and experiences.
  • Win as a team - make big things happen by working together and being open to new ideas.
  • Be an active part of the Net Promoter System - a way of working that brings more employee and customer feedback into the company - by joining huddles, making call backs and helping us elevate opportunities to do better for our customers.
  • Drive results and growth.
  • Support a culture of inclusion in how you work and lead.
  • Do what's right for each other, our customers, investors and our communities.
