Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Technical Product Manager (TPM) with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to lead the development and execution of AI-powered products that enhance personalization, web optimization, and customer experience across our omnichannel ecosystem. This individual will play a key role in shaping and delivering our AI strategy, working closely with data science, engineering, UX, and business teams to build innovative, customer-centric solutions that support UPS's digital transformation and growth objectives. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between complex AI technologies and business value, with exceptional presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas, influence stakeholders, and represent product vision to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for AI-driven initiatives, including personalization, predictive analytics, and content optimization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful AI features
  • Translate AI concepts (ML models, NLP, recommendation systems) into clear product strategies and user-facing capabilities
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to integrate them into digital customer journeys
  • Define and track success metrics tied to NPS, conversion rates, engagement, and revenue
  • Ensure AI implementations align with ethical standards, explainability requirements, and UPS's brand values
  • Lead product presentations to senior leadership, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to communicate progress, vision, and value
  • Act as a thought leader and internal advocate for the responsible and effective use of AI across the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML-powered products
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts such as supervised learning, NLP, recommendation engines, and model evaluation
  • Proven ability to work closely with data science and engineering teams in a highly technical environment
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with customer experience optimization, web personalization, or digital platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in enterprise or B2B2C environments
  • Familiarity with experimentation platforms (e.g., A/B testing, multivariate testing)
  • Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and regulatory considerations
  • Agile/Scrum product development experience
