Titan Technologies is seeking a
Lead Systems Engineer
to support a mission-focused Government customer by delivering the full lifecycle of services needed to advance and modernize critical software capabilities. This includes developing, testing, integrating, and deploying enhancements to existing systems, as well as enabling the delivery of new and emerging requirements that drive mission success.

At a strategic level, the program will help establish a unified and optimized Operations and Sustainment framework for legacy environments while incorporating Human Centered Design principles to improve usability and overall effectiveness. It also strengthens a Continuous Release model within the DevSecOps pipeline, enabling faster delivery of new features, security advancements, and integrated products.

By expanding automation through robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and ensuring the ongoing stability, integrity, and responsiveness of legacy applications and services, the program plays a pivotal role in supporting long-term system performance and mission readiness.

Job Description
The Lead System Engineer will lead engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Guide multi-level engineering teams across requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, service development, integration, testing, evaluation, maintainability, and system-level analysis.
  • Lead planning and traceability activities, including user requirements, architecture alignment, procedures, workflow reviews, and system improvement efforts.
  • Oversee the development of technical solutions and system designs informed by requirements analysis and new technological opportunities.
  • Support the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer needs into systems and capability requirements, including allocating those requirements to architecture components and supporting related program execution.
  • Contribute to systems integration efforts across multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces.
  • Provide expertise in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
  • Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
  • Operate at the level of integrating multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces within a Major Systems Acquisition across organizational and agency boundaries.
  • Exhibit transparency by sharing all salient facts relevant to the task at hand.
  • Routinely provide honest and frank feedback to Government leads on the achievability of desired deliverables within proposed timeframes.
  • Communicate unexpected setbacks quickly and propose mitigation actions. Incorporates lessons learned in future planning.
  • Communicate with government on achievability of system and program goals as well as setbacks and mitigation steps for any impediments to those goals.

You MUST Have

  • A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • 5+ years developing system architecture and system design documentation.
  • Experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of standard software development processes, such as DevOps, requirements engineering, coding, documentation, configuration management, quality assurance, integration, and testing.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government information sharing frameworks, policies, and interoperability requirements.
  • Familiarity with system modeling.

It's GREAT If You Also Have

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
  • Experience leading the analysis of user requirements, concept of operations documents and high-level architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Experience with structured analytic techniques, XML, DevOps tools, build and automation tools, software development kits (SDK), and common programming languages. Demonstrated ability to build code collaboratively in team environments, following agile or other standard methodologies.

Education

  • BS degree with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
