As a Security Officer - Armed Aero/Defense Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This role requires both armed responsibilities and driving as part of your daily duties. You will remain highly visible, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the aerospace and defense location.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while upholding site-specific protocols.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required by site policies.
• Assist Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed during emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
