Job Overview

Asian Rehabilitation Service (ARS) is seeking an Assistant Case Manager to provide support in managing client case files, program documentation, and related administrative activities. The role focuses on helping Case Managers ensure that client needs are met through accurate recordkeeping, timely communication, and coordinated follow-up. This position is designed for individuals with strong organizational skills who want to contribute to ARS's mission of providing employment opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities, without the full caseload management responsibilities of a Case Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist Case Managers with intake, assessments, and follow-up communications.

  2. Support in organizing and maintaining accurate client case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date.

  3. Collect and verify necessary documents from clients for program eligibility and compliance purposes.

  4. Prepare summaries and assist in compiling monthly and quarterly reports.

  5. Maintain confidentiality and follow security protocols for sensitive information.

  6. Help coordinate scheduling of client appointments, meetings, and training sessions.

  7. Support job placement activities by reviewing job leads, preparing application materials, and providing general guidance to clients under supervision.

  8. Communicate with clients, employers, and ARS staff to support smooth case management operations.

  9. Provide administrative support for special projects, events, and trainings.

  10. Participate in staff meetings and professional development as needed.

Qualifications

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Familiarity with document storage, retrieval, and compliance best practices.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive client information.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and client management systems.

· Experience with non-profit organizations is a plus.

· Bilingual ability preferred.

Must pass background checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
