Koniag Government Solutions (KGS) is seeking a Correlation Review Specialist Level I to support the National Nuclear Counterterrorism Center (NNCTC) operations with ballistic identification systems. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform image and correlation reviews
- Conduct quality control reviews for NIBIN Partner sites
- Enter data into various databases and formats
- Analyze and interpret document sources
- Share and report information
- Support team operations
- Maintain quality standards
Requirements
- Operate Integrated Ballistics Identification Systems (IBIS) equipment
- Complete triage/acquisition training
- Pass NNCTC correlation review training
- Perform proficiency testing
- Assist with training (as assigned)
- Support acquisition entries
- Maintain quality control standards
Trainee Level
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Learn IBIS operations
- Complete required training
- Perform basic reviews under supervision
Entry Level
- Perform independent reviews
- Maintain acceptable quality levels
- Work within established standards
Journeyman Level I
- Six months experience at Level I
- Work independently
- Meet NNCTC QA Standards
- Law enforcement background
- Experience with ballistics
- Knowledge of IBIS systems
- Database management experience
- Training capabilities
- Leadership potential
- Experience with quality assurance
- Background in forensics
- Understanding of chain of custody
- Knowledge of evidence handling
- Experience with federal systems
- Understanding of security protocols
- Technical writing abilities
- Experience with data analysis
- Knowledge of QA standards
- Proficiency in documentation
Education
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university
