Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Mobile Phlebotomist (Independent Contractor) to perform in-home and in-office blood draws, processing, and packaging for both routine and specialty functional medicine tests.

All test kits, supplies, and prepaid shipping labels are provided by the clinic or patient. The phlebotomist will coordinate appointments directly with patients, perform collections with the highest level of professionalism, and ensure accurate specimen processing and shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mobile and in-office phlebotomy services with professionalism, discretion, and care.
• Collect, process, and prepare blood, urine, and saliva specimens for functional medicine and specialty testing (Genova, Doctor's Data, IGeneX, US Biotek, etc.).
• Coordinate flexible appointment times, preferably mornings and early afternoons, to align with fasting requirements and client availability.
• Package and ship samples using the provided prepaid materials.
• Maintain proper specimen integrity and chain of custody.
• Communicate promptly with clinic staff regarding completed draws, patient feedback, and any collection or shipping concerns.
• Represent our concierge medical practice with a high standard of appearance, punctuality, and patient interaction.

Qualifications

• Required:
• Current phlebotomy certification (CPT or equivalent).
• Reliable transportation and availability for home visits.
• Proof of current professional liability insurance.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and professionalism.
• Preferred:
• Prior experience with functional or specialty lab testing (Genova, Doctor's Data, IGeneX, US Biotek, etc.).
• Familiarity with concierge or private practice settings.
• Confidence with in-home specimen collection and processing.

Compensation & Structure

• Independent Contractor
• Competitive per-visit or per-draw compensation.
• Flexible scheduling (primarily morning and early afternoon).
