Magnolia is seeking a commercial property manager that will be responsible for overseeing the

daily operations, maintenance, and financial performance of commercial properties. This

includes ensuring tenant satisfaction, managing property budgets, coordinating maintenance

and repairs. This role requires strong organizational skills, a high level of customer service, and

a thorough understanding of commercial property operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Property Operations Management:

o Oversee day-to-day operations of commercial properties, including office buildings, retail

spaces, and industrial properties.

o Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, and repair services to ensure properties remain in

good condition.

o Implement property-specific systems for tenant inquiries, complaints, and service

requests.

o Supervise external vendors, contractors, and property staff (e.g., janitorial, security,

maintenance personnel).

  1. Tenant Relations:

o Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing issues and ensuring tenant

satisfaction.

o Conduct regular property inspections.

o Handle rent collections and ensure prompt payment, including following up on overdue

payments and managing delinquencies.

  1. Financial Management:

o Prepare and manage property budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and

profitability.

o Monitor and report on income and expenditures for each property, ensuring targets are

met.

o Manage capital improvements, renovations, and tenant fit-outs in accordance with

budgets and timelines.

  1. Reporting and Documentation:

o In concert with property accounting staff, prepare and submit monthly and quarterly

reports on property performance, tenant issues, and maintenance needs.

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for leases, contracts, and property documents.

o Provide detailed financial reports to senior management and ownership groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


• Education: Bachelor's degree.


• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial property management

or a related field.


• Licenses/Certifications: Relevant property management certification (e.g., CPM, RPA,

or similar) is highly preferred.


• Skills: Strong knowledge of commercial property operations and leasing processes.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and

deadlines.

o Strong problem-solving skills.

o Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

o Understanding of financial reporting and budgeting.

Physical Requirements:


• Ability to walk, inspect, and assess commercial properties on a regular basis.


• Ability to respond to emergencies or urgent situations as they arise.
