Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Team Member at SAMBAZON Açaí Bowls in New York, NY. You'll be the face of the brand — building açaí bowls, blending smoothies, and delivering great experiences. We're looking for upbeat, reliable people who love hospitality, health, and teamwork.

This role offers strong long-term growth potential for someone excited to grow alongside the business.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble bowls, smoothies, and other menu items with accuracy and care
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet brand standards every time
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the shop
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to take and process customer orders
  • Provide fast, friendly, and helpful service — every guest, every shift
  • Answer questions, address concerns, and create positive customer interactions
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory and prep as needed
  • Manage your time effectively to stay on top of cleaning, service, and food prep
  • Communicate any product or inventory issues promptly to supervisors
  • Foster a fun, supportive team environment and uphold our brand values

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Able to remain standing for extended periods
  • Able to frequently move about the store to assemble orders, restock, or clean
  • Able to lift or move 25–40 lbs occasionally (stock, produce, equipment)
  • Able to retrieve items from shelves, under counters, and walk-ins
  • Comfortable in occasionally loud environments (blenders, timers, etc.)
