What the day will look like

  • Position encompasses all aspects of FP&A within North America
  • Directly Supports NA CFO, NA Senior Director and Senior Finance Manager
  • Prepare and clearly present business results to management.
  • Business Partner to newly created Middle Market team
  • Gather data from financial databases and business teams to create monthly and annual revenue and expense projections
  • Create and review management reports, ensuring financial information has been recorded accurately
  • Assist with the annual budgeting processes, including data collection and analysis.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 3+ years of FP&A experience (Forecasting, Planning and Analysis) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Effective communicator: able to direct attention where it is needed; ability to convey complex concepts clearly and simply
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership within both Finance and NA Leadership
  • Good teammate: shares ideas with others; positive, can-do-will-do attitude; flexible to change
  • Ideal candidate will need to work hand in hand with our offshore Krakow partners
  • Ownership: able to prioritize; actively works through problems
  • Relationship builder: skilled at creating bonds and partnering with others
  • Possesses the drive to continually learn and improve
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reflective approach to the job
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and Access, including pivot tables and macros
  • Highly motivated professional with an eagerness to learn
  • Experience in WorkDay, Power BI and TM1 financial systems a plus

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $75,000 - $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. 

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. 

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.  The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
