About The Job You're Considering
This role focuses on designing and installing electrical subsystems for small robots and ground-based vehicles. You'll work under the guidance of senior electrical and mechanical engineers to coordinate design and installations, primarily involving Drive by Wire systems. The position includes harness design, pin mapping, troubleshooting, and testing electrical systems.

Your role

  • Design and troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and electronic modules.
  • Collaborate with engineers on harness routing, module placement, and prototype testing.
  • Program embedded modules using visual logic-based tools and perform functional diagnostics.
  • Conduct electrical testing, preventive maintenance, and calibration of systems and equipment.
  • Recommend improvements and stay current with tools and technologies through ongoing learning.

Your Skills And Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 5–7 years of experience in electronics systems integration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, protocol analyzers, and power supplies.
  • Experience in electronic module programming.
  • Knowledge of CAD/circuit design and familiarity with building and testing harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
  • Understanding of electronics wire routing, basic mechanical assembly knowledge, experience using hand tools.
