About the Job

Allied Resources Technical Consultants is looking for an SAP Integration Lead who will be responsible for designing, building, and operating modern integrations on SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) that connect SAP S/4HANA with internal and external applications. The SAP Integration Lead will own end-to-end integration delivery—from iFlow design and Groovy scripting through testing, transport, monitoring, and continuous optimization—while aligning technical solutions with business outcomes. Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy iFlows using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) following API‑led and event-driven patterns.
  • Implement integrations across REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP/FTP, IDoc, RFC/Proxy, and JMS/AMQP where appropriate.
  • Build reusable assets (templates, canonical schemas, policy sets) and enforce naming/versioning standards.
  • Write efficient Groovy scripts for mappings, validations, exception handling, and custom adapters; ABAP experience a plus.
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent data flow between SAP and non-SAP systems; protect PII and sensitive data.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration incidents (L2/L3 support), perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
  • Publish and secure APIs via SAP API Management, managing lifecycle, versioning, and policies (OAuth2/JWT, mTLS, caching, traffic shaping).
  • Produce clear documentation, including design specs, sequence diagrams, interface catalogs, runbooks, and operational guides.
  • Manage transports with BTP Transport Management Service (TMS), CTS+/gCTS, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
  • Collaborate with SAP functional leads, application owners, security, and platform teams to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor performance and optimize throughput, latency, and cost across CPI and CPEA services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (foreign equivalents accepted).
  • 5–7 years hands-on experience with SAP and non-SAP integrations, including SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Strong Groovy scripting skills; ABAP experience for proxies/BAPIs/IDocs is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and middleware: REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP/FTP, JSON, XML, XSLT, JMS/AMQP.
  • Experience with SAP integration points with S/4HANA/ECC (IDoc/BAPI/ALE/Proxy) and cloud/SaaS endpoints.
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector, Destinations, XSUAA, secure credential management, and OAuth2/SAML.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for business and technical stakeholders.
