Responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct lessons for SAT and ACT preparation (math, English, reading, science).
  • Assess student progress through diagnostic tests and adjust learning programs accordingly.
  • Consult with parents and students on preparation strategies and college selection, with an emphasis on local Dallas opportunities.
  • Participate in the center's marketing activities (webinars, open houses) targeted at the Dallas community.
  • Support the online platform for remote and hybrid sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • Proven teaching experience in SAT/ACT preparation, with a strong focus on working with students in the Dallas area (e.g., familiarity with local high schools like those in Dallas ISD, Plano ISD, or surrounding districts).
  • High personal scores on SAT/ACT (top 10% percentile preferred).
  • Knowledge of Texas education standards and college admissions trends in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate diverse student groups.
  • Experience with online teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, Khan Academy, or similar platforms).

We're opening a college entrance exam preparation center in Texas. To help students achieve high scores on the SAT and ACT, opening doors to top universities. We are seeking an education enthusiast with teaching experience, particularly in the Dallas area, to join our team and help local students realize their potential.

In this role, you will lead individual and group sessions in math, reading, writing, and science for SAT and ACT preparation. We value innovative teaching approaches, the use of online tools, and a focus on testing strategies tailored to the needs of Dallas-area students.
