As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Shared Services to lead and elevate our cross-functional support teams.

Position Overview

The Vice President of Shared Services will oversee and integrate key operational departments—including Marketing, Legal, Finance, Recruiting, Sales, and others—to ensure seamless collaboration and strategic alignment across the organization. This executive leader will bring deep experience in private equity, healthcare, startups, and multi-site specialty environments, with the ability to scale infrastructure, streamline processes, and drive operational efficiency companywide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a cohesive Shared Services strategy that aligns with SD B's growth goals and long-term vision.
  • Department Oversight: Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability across multiple departments to ensure effective integration and service delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships across the organization, promoting transparency, communication, and synergy between teams.
  • Process Optimization: Assess current workflows and implement improvements to drive efficiency, standardization, and operational excellence.
  • Financial Management: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Shared Services functions to ensure responsible cost management and resource allocation.
  • Talent Development: Partner closely with HR and Recruiting to attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent across Shared Services.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all departments operate within regulatory, legal, and industry standards while effectively mitigating organizational risk.
  • Industry Expertise: Apply knowledge of startups, healthcare, private equity, and multi-site specialty practices to guide strategic decision-making and operational scaling.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience overseeing multiple Shared Services functions.
  • Proven background in private equity, multi-site healthcare, and high-growth environments.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and organizational problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency and enabling cross-departmental alignment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
