Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software development and a strong understanding of various technologies, including service-oriented architecture and cloud security. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to system design, solution architecture, and the overall IT infrastructure of our organization.

Duties

  • Design, develop, and implement robust software solutions using various programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and management.
  • Oversee system administration tasks, including load balancing, cloud security measures, and network management.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline development workflows.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage information security protocols to safeguard systems against threats.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery and team collaboration.
  • Engage in debugging processes to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Participate in the design of RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration across platforms.
  • Mentor junior developers by sharing knowledge on best practices in software development and system engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in systems engineering, system design, and solution architecture.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, SQL, C++, .NET, and Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with virtualization technologies like VMware and ESXi.
  • Strong understanding of databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking concepts (DNS, DHCP).
  • Ability to work with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience with web technologies including HTML/CSS, React Express, XML, SOAP, RESTful API design.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as firewalls, VPNs, GPOs, and Meraki systems.
