Job Description

As a Security Professional - Utilities Patrol Officer in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned utility locations. Your presence and proactive engagement will contribute to a secure environment for everyone onsite. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to incidents as they arise, all while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the utilities location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, facility damage, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.
• Work closely with Allied Universal leadership and the on-site team to maintain a visible presence and assist with site-specific needs.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions, information, and security-related questions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
