Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud computing, with experience in designing, implementing, and managing robust infrastructure solutions. This role requires proficiency in service-oriented architecture and AWS.

Duties

  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate infrastructure with applications using CI/CD practices.
  • Implement system hardening techniques to enhance security across all operating systems including Linux, Windows, and UNIX.
  • Utilize automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to cloud services, networking (VPN), and storage (S3).
  • Engage in cloud architecture design discussions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the deployment of microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery testing for critical systems.

Experience

Candidates should possess a strong foundation in computer science or a related field with hands-on experience in the following areas:

  • Experience with Infrastructure activities (setting up Infra, Firewalls, Certificates, etc) in AWS
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • AUtomation of Infra activities
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, Puppetand continuous integration.
