Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls, reservations, and messages.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively.
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction regarding room conditions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support hotel operations.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages (bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable).
  • Previous experience in front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
