What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report any security-related concerns or hazards identified during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations at the chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols, particularly those relevant to chemical and petrochemical environments, and follow all established practices while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
