Position Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a hybrid role, working both in-office and in the field. The RN will provide medical and psychiatric nursing support to individuals diagnosed with mental health disorders and substance use challenges. This role involves direct client care, coordination with psychiatrists and therapists, and ensuring continuity of care through assessments, medication monitoring, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and psychiatric evaluations for adults, adolescents, and children.
  • Administer and monitor prescribed medications, ensuring proper documentation and adherence.
  • Draw blood and perform routine medical exams or lab collections as required by treatment plans.
  • Provide medical education to clients and families on medication usage, side effects, and health maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with the clinical team, including psychiatrists, LPCs, and case managers.
  • Conduct field visits for in-home assessments, follow-ups, and wellness checks.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Uphold all HIPAA, CARF, and DBHDD compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse settings preferred.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
  • CPR certification (required).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Hybrid role – combination of office hours and community field visits.
  • Full-time or part-time schedules available.
  • Flexible hours and supportive work environment.

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate: $45–$55 per hour, based on experience.
  • Mileage reimbursement for field travel.
