This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Program Manager in District of Columbia (USA).

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide executive-level oversight and leadership on large-scale federal programs. In this role, you will manage multimillion-dollar contracts, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure strategic objectives are met efficiently and effectively. You will act as the primary liaison between government stakeholders and project teams, driving program performance, risk management, and quality assurance. This position offers a dynamic, hybrid-remote environment where your leadership directly impacts operational excellence and program success. You will have the opportunity to work on complex projects that combine outreach, engagement, IT, and cybersecurity initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide overall direction and leadership for outreach, engagement, IT, cybersecurity, and data operations services.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between government stakeholders and project teams.
  • Manage task performance, cost, schedule, and quality to meet contractual obligations.
  • Lead status meetings, reporting, and issue resolution across multiple functional areas.
  • Implement quality assurance measures and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Oversee risk management, resource planning, and performance optimization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field.
  • PMP or PgMP certification from PMI is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of program management experience supporting large federal contracts.
  • Experience with Department of Defense or related programs, with a preference for MC&FP support activities.
  • Strong background managing IT-focused programs, including cybersecurity, software development, and cloud migration.
  • Ability to communicate strategic initiatives effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or an active Tier 3 investigation.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing outreach, communications, and engagement initiatives (branding, content, PR, web/social media).
