Team Introduction
Ancestry is hiring an Associate Marketing Manager, Pricing and Packaging to be part of our Pricing and Packaging team, tasked with enhancing customer value and driving subscription revenue growth. This role combines strategic marketing, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to create differentiated product offerings. The team partners closely with Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, MarTech, and Product teams to ensure our offerings meet customer needs while aligning with strategic business goals.
You might start your morning reviewing pricing performance dashboards, meet with Product to discuss how new features could shift customer value perception, then work with Finance to model the revenue impact of a proposed pricing adjustment. In the afternoon, you'll refine recommendations for upcoming leadership reviews and partner with analytics to test assumptions for next quarter's pricing experiments.
What you will do..
- Lead Product Packaging: Define and refine product and subscription tiers that clearly communicate value and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Analyze & Allocate Features: Evaluate feature value, fit, and optimal tier placement in collaboration with Product and Insights teams.
- Enhance Customer Experience: Identify and resolve friction in product structures to simplify customer decision-making and improve retention.
- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and facilitate successful execution of technical and marketing initiatives.
- Stay Market-Informed: Monitor competitive offerings and market trends to ensure our product packages remain relevant and compelling.
Who you are..
- 2+ years of experience in product marketing, pricing, or go-to-market strategy, preferably in subscription, SaaS, or digital consumer products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret research, develop business cases, and translate product features into customer value.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverse teams and influencing product bundling or release strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex value frameworks clearly to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field;

- Experience with Shopify, Magento, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or Domo.
- Hands-on A/B testing experience and familiarity with AI applications in marketing.
- Insight into legal or finance implications in market-specific contexts.
- Pragmatic approach to emerging technologies and AI.

As a signatory of the ParityPledge in Support of Women and the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color, Ancestry values pay transparency and pay equity. We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $60,840 - $76,050 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision.
