Company Description
Technology is our how. And people are our why. For over two decades, we have been harnessing technology to drive meaningful change.
By combining world-class engineering, industry expertise and a people-centric mindset, we consult and partner with leading brands from various industries to create dynamic platforms and intelligent digital experiences that drive innovation and transform businesses.
Data and Artificial Intelligence are reshaping every industry — transforming how organizations create value, serve customers, and compete. At Endava, we help our clients navigate this shift: identifying where AI creates advantage, where it introduces risk, and how to invest wisely to accelerate innovation. This role sits at the heart of that mission.
From prototype to real-world impact — be part of a global shift by doing work that matters.
Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Global SVP, Data & AI (North America) to help shape and grow Endava's Data and AI business across the region. Reporting to the Global Head of Data & AI, this individual will act as a senior advisor to our clients — helping them understand the strategic implications of Data and AI, define where and how to invest, and translate vision into actionable initiatives that lead to delivery work for Endava's global engineering and data teams.
The successful candidate will be both a practitioner and a commercial leader: someone who can credibly engage with senior client stakeholders on Data and AI strategy, while also driving the presales and advisory activities that create commercial demand. This role requires a balance of technical understanding, business acumen, and storytelling — helping clients see how Data and AI can be applied to achieve tangible business outcomes, responsibly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory and Engagement:
Act as a senior advisor to client executives on Data and AI strategy — including governance, platform modernization, AI enablement, and responsible adoption. Help clients understand how emerging technologies can create business value and how to mitigate associated risks. - Commercial Growth:
Partner with Endava's Client Partners, GTM and Delivery leaders to identify and shape Data & AI opportunities across sectors. Translate advisory discussions into tangible delivery engagements, ensuring alignment with client needs and Endava's capabilities. - Thought Leadership and Brand Building:
Represent Endava's point of view on Data and AI across public and internal forums — including conferences, industry events, and marketing channels. Contribute to the creation of thought leadership materials, articles, and presentations that enhance Endava's market reputation. - Strategic Influence:
Collaborate with the Global Data & AI leadership team to shape Endava's overall Data & AI vision and offerings. Provide insight into North American market trends, client challenges, and opportunities to evolve our GTM strategy. - Cross-Sector Collaboration:
Work across multiple verticals (e.g. banking, insurance, payments, retail, healthcare, technology) — bringing transferable best practices and ensuring Endava's clients benefit from leading approaches in data and AI adoption. - Credibility and Leadership:
Bring the confidence, communication, and empathy needed to engage credibly with C-level executives, engineering leaders, and business stakeholders. Champion Endava's values of partnership, curiosity, and integrity in every engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent).
- 15+ years of professional experience in Data and AI, including significant leadership experience in consulting, technology services, or enterprise roles.
- Proven track record of developing and executing data and AI strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Experience engaging senior executives and boards on the implications and opportunities of emerging technologies.
- Deep understanding of at least one major industry vertical that Endava serves — e.g. banking, insurance, payments, retail, healthcare, or technology.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and influencing skills, with the ability to connect technical topics to business value.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, global organization.
Additional Requirements
- Remote-first role, with a preference for candidates based on the East Coast of North America.
- Travel will be required to meet clients and attend internal or industry events (approximately 30–40% of time).
- Valid passport and driver's license required.
- Occasional attendance at tradeshows or live events may require light physical activity (lifting up to 25 lbs).
