Our client is an industry leader specializing in innovative electro-hydraulic solutions. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Technician with a focus on electro-hydraulic systems to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales department to develop tailored electronic solutions for customers across various industries.

Description:

  • Collaborate with the internal team to design and implement customized electro-hydraulic solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance during the solution development process, ensuring the seamless integration of electronic controls.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Allen Bradley PLCs and mobile controllers to meet project specifications.
  • Interpret and read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure proper system setup and functionality.
  • Assist in product development and continuous improvement efforts related to electronic and hydraulic systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers, ensuring they understand the operation and maintenance of the systems developed.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Automation, Controls, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs, and mobile controllers.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams.
  • Hydraulic experience or understanding of hydraulic theory and its application in real-world scenarios is a strong asset.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
