Position Overview

We are looking for a Data Platform Architect in San Antonio, TX to design and implement robust enterprise data solutions. In this role, you will drive the development of scalable cloud-based platforms, enable advanced analytics, and support operational and business intelligence needs across the organization. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills and enjoys collaborating with diverse teams.

This role offers hybrid work flexibility and is available in full-time or part-time capacities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based data platforms that support analytics and operational workflows.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation standards are met.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance data architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or cloud platform development.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $155,000 – $165,000 annually
  • Annual Bonus: Typically 10–20% of base salary
