The Opportunity
GutterMaxx is seeking an experienced Canvassing Sales Manager to recruit, train, and lead high-performing door-to-door teams across the Austin and San Antonio markets. This is a leadership role with significant career and financial growth potential.
Our company goal is 500–750 approved customer installations annually, and achieving these milestones unlocks substantial performance bonuses tied to completed, installed, and paid-in-full jobs. All sales and installations qualifying toward bonuses must meet company-defined guidelines for approval, ensuring installation completion, quality verification, and confirmed payment.
What You'll Do
Recruit, interview, and onboard new canvassing representatives.
Conduct regular team meetings and motivational huddles.
Train reps on approved scripts, objection handling, and one-call close strategies.
Provide in-field coaching and ensure performance accountability.
Track KPIs such as doors knocked, leads generated, and conversion rates.
Manage canvassing territories and schedules for optimal efficiency.
Foster a strong, accountable, and motivated team culture.
Report weekly performance results to company leadership.
What We're Looking For
Proven leadership experience in direct sales, canvassing, or D2D management (home improvement, solar, telecom, pest control, or similar).
Demonstrated ability to build, retain, and motivate sales teams.
High-energy, competitive personality with strong communication skills.
Reliable transportation and willingness to be in the field as needed.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
A trained, disciplined leader who can knock at least 50,000 doors per year with their team, maintaining consistent activity, structure, and measurable results.
Compensation & Rewards
Competitive base pay structure (negotiated individually).
Team performance incentives and 10% override on all gross sales.
Performance Bonus Plan:
$50,000 bonus at 250 installed and paid-in-full jobs within the same calendar year
$120,000 bonus at 400 installed and paid-in-full jobs within the same calendar year
$200,000 bonus at 500 installed and paid-in-full jobs within the same calendar year
(Bonuses are paid in a single lump sum following accounting confirmation of completed installations and compliance with company approval guidelines.)
- Realistic Year 1 Total Compensation: $200,000–$300,000+, based on results.
