We're seeking a dynamic professional who will be the critical nerve center of our air freight operations, transforming complex logistical challenges into seamless delivery solutions. Your strategic insights and meticulous coordination will directly impact customer experiences across our rapidly expanding network.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage scanning equipment, repair processes, and inter-center communications to ensure seamless network performance
  • Develop training protocols, monitor compliance, and systematically eliminate operational defects
  • Oversee label procurement, invoice approvals, and precise inventory tracking across multiple locations
  • Investigate performance metrics, identify trends, and develop actionable insights for operational enhancement
  • Create compelling narratives and presentations that translate complex data into clear, executive-level recommendations

Eligibility requirement

  • Individuals hired into this position will have unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA). For this reason, eligibility for this role will be limited to individuals who pass a security screening, as required by the FAA, DHS, and TSA (as applicable).
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
  • Amazon does not sponsor for immigration, including for H-1B, TN, and other non-immigrant visas, for this role.

  • This position requires an employee's full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute their job duties to ensure the safety and security of Amazon Air personnel, third-party contractors, Airport personnel, cargo, and equipment. This position is therefore designated as a safety sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and, where permitted, post-hire drug testing.

A day in the life

Your day will be a dynamic blend of real-time problem-solving, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll navigate our complex air network, making critical decisions that ensure smooth freight movements and timely deliveries. From coordinating equipment procurement to analyzing performance metrics, you'll be the behind-the-scenes hero keeping our operations running smoothly.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Are 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field
  • Experience in transportation or supply chain operations
  • Advanced Excel skills with data analysis capabilities
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
