Bayshore Properties is looking for a talented and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stonebridge Apartments, a 586-unit apartment community located in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades with a minimum of 2 years maintenance experience (apartment maintenance preferred) and HVAC experience (certification is recommended).

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Performs general mechanic repairs and replacements
  • Completes general labor tasks and other duties as assigned
  • Handles designated work orders and service requests in a timely manner
  • Assists maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop
  • Knows when to escalate maintenance issues to management
  • Maintains courteous and professional demeanor with residents, prospective residents, coworkers, and vendors
  • Performs general cleaning and snow removal
  • Works on-call, overtime, weekend, holiday, and evening work as required

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience, apartment maintenance experience preferred
  • HVAC experience preferred
  • Certified Pool Operator, a plus
  • Display proficiency while performing day-to-day tasks, preventative maintenance, and work orders
  • Must be team-oriented, dependable, resourceful, flexible and results-driven
  • Must be well- organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license

Maintenance Technician Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lifts and carries up to 45 pounds; occasionally up to 80 pounds.
  • Pushes and/or pulls (appliances) using appliance dolly up to 200 pounds
  • Moves objects from one floor to another
  • Frequently bends/stoops, climbs stairs, kneels, balances, reaches above shoulder height, walks and twists
  • Has normal range of vision, hearing and speech
