• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in data engineering or systems management (e.g., data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, visualization, data governance, data architecture, system integration).
• Experience presenting to executive audiences to represent projects from business, product and technical perspectives.

• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience building and delivering infrastructure solutions in an engineering environment.
• Experience in capacity management, capacity planning or resource allocation.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and written skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will sit at the intersection of finance, engineering, and operations. You will be instrumental in defining and executing the capacity lifecycle from initial strategic planning to final delivery and utilization monitoring for the infrastructure that powers Core's launches especially the most critical launches in the AI era.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Manage the intake, prioritization, approvals, allocation, and stakeholder management for capacity needed for launches, serving as the liaison for demand planning/signalling and annual planning with leadership.
• Scale capacity systems, by rebuilding or supporting existing platforms, to meet user needs.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
• Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
• Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
