We are a fast-growing, independent smart home and security company based in Round Rock, TX. Unlike traditional dealers, we install, monitor, and manage all systems in-house. We are now expanding into the Oklahoma City market, bringing advanced smart home and security solutions directly to local homeowners.
We are seeking high-energy door-to-door sales professionals ready to establish our presence in OKC and grow their careers in smart home security sales.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, results-driven sales role with a clear career path. You will:
- Sell smart home security systems door-to-door, including alarms, cameras, access control, and home automation devices
- Educate homeowners about system features, upgrades, and benefits
- Schedule installations with our in-house tech team
- Complete a 6-week commission-only training program
- Transition to a W-2 role with base salary, weekly commission, and benefits after training
Training Period (6 Weeks)
- Compensation: 100% commission
- Performance Requirement: Minimum of 13 closed sales during training
- Tools Provided: Tablet, uniform, mileage reimbursement
- Goal: Master our smart home products, door-to-door sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies
Post-Training Compensation
- Base Salary: $30,000/year
- Weekly Commissions: Earned on every sale and installation scheduled
- Benefits: W-2 with standard company benefits, including mileage reimbursement and uniform
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door sales presentations with homeowners in the Oklahoma City market
- Close sales and schedule in-home installations
- Educate customers on alarm systems, smart cameras, automation, and upsell options
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer interaction logs
- Represent Southern Home Security LLC professionally and enthusiastically
Requirements
- High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Previous door-to-door sales experience preferred, but willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must commit to 13 sales during the 6-week training program
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
