Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Director of B2B Sales to grow the B2B sales channel and develop within specific verticals.
General Position Summary: The B2B Sales Manager in charge of Education and Sports Teams is responsible and accountable for securing business in the above-mentioned verticals. Scope of work includes planning and executing B2B sales strategies for corresponding verticals, from prospecting, pipeline management, and conversion. The Manager is adept at multitasking across accounts simultaneously with solid communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Drive Sales
- Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy focused on enterprise-level customer acquisition and retention.
- Identify and pursue high-value opportunities across above-mentioned verticals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Lead complex sales negotiations and close high-value contracts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commerce operations, product, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions to enterprise clients.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy and optimum price positioning.
- Represent Polar at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.
Analytics and reporting
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategic insights to communicate results, trends and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Utilize data analytics to drive insights and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in B2B sales
- Competent analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging various syndicated data sources
- Strong client management skills
- Proactive communication skills from correspondence, presentation and closing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of office applications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and high growth potential company
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for customer meetings
