You'll be working virtually, handling client accounts, providing exceptional service, and operating with the mindset of an agency owner — not just an employee.

Position Summary

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book of commercial insurance clients, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate policy management, and proactive renewal handling. This person will serve as the main point of contact for clients, carriers, and producers, providing expert guidance and support throughout the insurance lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and policy changes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters.
  • Review policies for accuracy and ensure proper coverage alignment with client needs.
  • Assist producers with new business quotes and remarketing when necessary.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and coverage requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in the agency management system.
  • Stay informed about market trends, carrier appetite, and coverage options.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management (required).
  • Property & Casualty license required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, or similar).
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma required(college degree preferred but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour
