About the Role
As a Creative Operations Consultant within our Strategy & Consulting Practice, you will bring expertise in creative and content processes, coupled with hands-on knowledge of creative technologies, including automation, AI, workflow, and project management tools. You will be adept at navigating technical challenges with a problem-solving mindset and work independently to deliver solutions.
You will have a background in production or creative agencies, with a deep understanding of production workflows and extensive experience collaborating with global clients and key vendors to address creative production challenges. You stay current with industry trends and MarTech tools and bring a strategic perspective to your work.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, consultancy delivery expertise, exemplary communication, and strong client-facing engagement to navigate day-to-day operations and complex project opportunities and client challenges.
This contract position reports to the Creative Operations CoE Lead and is based in New York City, with work in our client's office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and map current PMO process (possibly using existing documentation as a starting point)
- Translate complex workflows into clear, digestible formats
- Support the execution of operational initiatives and serve as a strategic bridge, helping to translate complex or ambiguous areas into actionable steps. Focus on connecting strategic intent with delivery by clarifying the 'messy middle' and enabling progress from point A to point B
- Facilitate conversations, prep teams and help drive alignment
- Begin to enable progress toward future goals independent of upcoming tech rollouts (e.g., Workfront)h
- Provide Creative Operations expertise, delivering high quality, creative and insightful technology, operating model, delivery model and process model consultancy; you will ensure project success through timely and accurate production of agreed deliverables.
Skills Profile:
- NYC-based, this role is hybrid with a requirement to work onsite at client office at least 2-3 days per week.
- Experience in project management, change management, and operational execution
- Strategic thinker who's hands-on and action-oriented
- Collaborative "operator" to help drive action with retail familiarity (a plus)
- Minimum of 5 years in a client-facing agency or consulting role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in creative automation, marketing operations, content operations, digital shelf/e-commerce, and digital transformation across content ecosystems.
- Strong technical and operational knowledge across relevant industry segments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an influential, clear, and collaborative style.
- Creative problem-solving mindset and a natural curiosity to drive innovation.
- Track record of excellent engagement, relationship development and management with senior client stakeholders and sponsors.
- Ability to simplify complex situations and lead discussions with clients, colleagues, and leaders.
- Strong proficiency in project and program management principles.
- Advanced degree is a plus.
