Mobile Store Manager of Snap-on Tool Franchise

Location: South CLT

A passionate and results-oriented Store Manager is sought to lead the mobile route in south CLT with franchise ownership opportunities.

About the Role:

The Store Manager at Snap-on Tools is a leadership position responsible for all aspects of operations in the South CLT area. This person will be instrumental in producing paid sales, delivered sales, and ensuring customers receive the best possible experience. As well as maintaining account collections to receive bonus rewards. Loading Tool Storage (ability to lift 50lbs), displaying tools, equipment, and keeping your mobile "store" merchandise in a clean presentation.

Key Responsibilities or Duties:

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Drive sales management initiatives to achieve store targets and enhance profitability.
  • Maintain inventory levels by managing stock, placing orders, and conducting annual inventory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure the mobile store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
  • Perform demonstrations of features and benefits of Snap-on tools
  • Managing delivered and paid sales
  • Drive sales and profitability by developing and implementing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing performance data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction, addressing customer needs, resolving complaints, and staying informed on product knowledge and service excellence.
  • Responsible for account collections, managing customer accounts and on- time payments.
  • Manage mobile "store" operations by overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, merchandising, and truck maintenance.
  • Maintain visual standards to ensure the "store" is visually appealing, well-organized, and reflects brand standards through effective merchandising and display arrangements.
  • Comply with regulations by ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively by facilitating open communication with team members, customers, and higher management, including overcoming customer objections to complete the sale, and reporting on performance and trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong mathematical skills for managing financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Proven experience in sales management within a retail environment.
  • Ability to manage store operations effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus for better customer engagement.
  • 3 plus years of proven experience in retail management, demonstrating success in driving sales.
  • Strong leadership with high volume sales.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic financial analysis.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in business or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and move tool storage
  • Ability to commute within 30 minutes of South Charlotte Area
  • Ability to receive UPS shipments at place of residence
  • Ability to drive and park a 22 ft liftgate truck and the potential to park overnight at home but not required. Truck storage options are available.
