Quality Assurance Engineer, Mid.  Responsible for creating software test and automating test cases, performing application testing, validating bugs, and isolating issues; writing and initiating tests and then analyzing and reporting the test results in the ticketing system; and performing configuration management, change management, and release management. This position is located at the FBI facility in Winchester, VA. For select positions, the FBI may locate the position in Washington, D.C., however that will be determined by the customer. The government has established policies for on-site vs remote work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, hybrid work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.
Requirements
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance w/SCI and CI Poly or ability to obtain CI Poly. 
  • Bachelors' Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • Proven experience creating software test and automating test cases, performing application testing, validating bugs, and isolating issues
  • Experience in writing and initiating tests and then analyzing and reporting the test results in a ticketing system
  • Prior experience performing configuration management, change management, and release management tasks.
