About The Role
This role will orchestrate diverse strategic business priorities, new marketplace activations and internal workflows that impact social; while creating structure and clarity where ambiguity exists. You'll work closely with team members across social and cross-functional partners across the company to kick off new strategic initiatives and ensure social's point of view is clearly integrated, articulated and executed. You're energized by new projects, new initiatives, and representing the goals of the global social media team with other partners and stakeholders for the success of the overall business.

As part of Audible's Global Brand & Content Marketing (B&CM) organization, our social media team plays a central role in bringing the brand's storytelling vision to life through social channels. We are driving Audible's evolution into a cultural force, where 'you gotta hear this' becomes our community's rallying cry. Through our social-first approach, we transform listeners into storytellers and brand evangelists, creating shareable moments that inspire deeper community participation. Working closely with brand, content marketing, experiential, and creative teams, we ensure our social presence amplifies Audible's priority content verticals while supporting our mission to enrich imagination, transform routines, and forge meaningful human connections through the power of audio storytelling.
As a Director, Global Social Strategic Operations, you will...
- Manage the onboarding of new regional social presences
- Serve as point of contact for regional teams to align with global strategy across a variety of topics and direct them to appropriate points of contact around campaigns, etc.
- Build and maintain scalable systems to manage intake, prioritization and execution of cross functional requests for the social team leveraging GenAI
- Support documentation of social's involvement in strategic initiatives to documents and executive presentations
- Integrate cross-functional insights, data analytics, and industry foresight to make strategic decisions
- Build and maintain team documentation on process libraries, org working agreements and create clarity for cross functional partners

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Social Media strategy and operations
- Experience working cross functional with multiple stakeholders and competing timelines
- Experience in implementing GenAI and data analytics tools to enhance social media operations and workflows
- Experience with social marketing tools like Sprinklr, Airtable and others
- Technical expertise in social media across all platforms, with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing operational roll outs in international markets for digital consumer brands
- Experience in the entertainment or audio industry, with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the global landscape
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and adapt to changing market dynamics
- Exceptional collaborator and communicator who can independently partner with cross functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
